The Tahoe Cedars Property Owners’ Association is a non-profit organization located in Tahoma on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, California. Our purpose is to better our community, foster community spirit, and to speak as one voice for the property owners in our tract. The Association acts as a point of contact with the different organizations that provide services to the community, such as the fire department, sheriff’s office, Clean Tahoe Program, and the El Dorado County board of supervisors. The Association also organizes many events to encourage community spirit and provide assistance to its members, such as the Spring Cleanup, summer events in the park, and the Christmas Gala. We have a quarterly newsletter, the Tahoma Tattler, which keeps members up to date on current events and issues.

Special Notes About This Website: This website was a conversion from an old Squarespace website to a new WordPress website. This project involved migrating some 400 Member Entries from one database to another. Additionally, this website houses a custom Membership Portal only accessible by current paying members and provides varying levels of access depending on the member’s credentials. And, everything is housed under one account (no 3rd. Party redirects or embeds).

I am a Tahoe City based landscape and still life painter. I enjoy capturing simple beauty found in nature, sharing my paintings with others, and creating art that I would like to display in my own home. As an occupational therapist, I value this time to be creative and participate in meaningful activity. In doing so, I hope to create paintings that evoke fond memories of places and special items.

I returned to painting in the fall of 2021 after about an 11 year hiatus. I was preoccupied with building my career, relationship/family, and enjoying outdoor activities. It has been such a joy to re-introduce myself to painting as a form of self-care, and to further grow my skills with a different level of maturity.
